Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for supporting assisting the HR Director in every aspect of Human Resources, to support business goals and objectives. May assist in all or some of the following areas; hourly recruiting, new hire onboarding, salary administration, performance management, employee recognition/rewards programs, training & development, AAP and EEO related programs, benefits planning and administration, employee relations, legal and compliance, safety, and workers’ compensation. 
 
Essential Functions
  • Provides leaders and employees with coaching, consultation, and guidance on the effective management of people, structure, resourcing, and relationships. 
  • Delivers data-driven people solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible.
  • Leads change management initiatives.
  • Promote and drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Organizes and conducts new employee orientation; creates a positive first impression of the company and serves as a role model for values.
  • Inputs and maintains employee data in the HRIS system such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for reporting. 
  • Responsible for all aspects of HR records management
 
Qualifications
  • 4 years degree
  • 3 to 5 years HR/manufacturing experience a plus
  • Recruiting background a plus
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, applications and the competent use of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products are required.  
  • Knowledge of HR laws, policies and procedures with a basic understanding of legal compliance requirements
  • Flexible and a self-starter; able handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills including the ability to collaborate with others to deliver outstanding business solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in changing environments
  • Results driven with emphasis on keeping commitments
