General Manager located in Phoenix, Az or Dallas, Tx.  Position will require 70+% travel.  Home over the weekends.

Responsibilities :
·     Increases managements effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training , coaching, counseling, and disciplining Project Managers; Communicating values, strategies and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; and ongoing training.
·     Provides that adequate manpower is available at all times. 
·     Maintains a cooperative atmosphere between sales, service and parts department personnel. 
·     Coordinates efforts by establishing field and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
·     Maintains proper records, submits necessary reports, checks customer credit status and controls expenditures along with other required administrative details.
·     Works closely with other company functional managers; cooperates with manufacturers’ representatives; maintains and sells the company image; conducts meetings and performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Sales Manager.
·     Constantly appraises pricing, distribution and competitive action and policies.  Suggests changes to improve branch sales volume and profit.
·     Builds Company Image by collaborating with customers, project managers, sales reps, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
·     Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
·     P&L and Executive reporting responsibilities for the division.

Education and experience required:
·     BS in business management, finance, project management.  Experience in project management and hospital installations may be substituted for education.
·     10+ years experience in installation, project management, field service & maintenance, managing service parts and inventory, construction management, equipment install, commission and startup.
·     Experience managing and tracking project P&L.
·     Experience hiring, training and managing a remote team of 20+ install and service specialists.
·     Must be willing to travel 70%+ of the time.  Return to home base on weekends.
