Fund Accounting Associate: SLC, UT

     
Client needs accounting associate to assist outsourced CFO team with its growing number of Private Equity clients and services. Company is an investment fund creation, administration and data company. Fund Accounting is responsible for all of the day-to-day accounting entries required to prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports, capital call statements, distribution notices, and other client deliverables. This position is open to those who are highly organized self-starters in a fast-paced environment.  Prior fund accounting experience highly desired.   

    
Responsibilities: Preparing financial and capital account statements for venture funds and special purpose vehicles. Reconciling balance sheet and cash accounts.Preparing financial statements for startup entities.  Entering and reconciling transactions in QuickBooks. Calculating distributions. Creating and editing Excel and Word documents. Prepping financials for tax return preparation.  

    
Qualifications: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise.Experience with SalesForce database is a plus but not necessary.  Working knowledge of US GAAP. Familiarity with ILPA best practices.
