Content and Social Marketing Manager – SLC, UT
As the Content and Social Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving organic traffic, social engagement and content production across all associated social channels

The key objectives of this role are:
  1. Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that drives organic traffic to our online properties
  2. Drive engagement and followers on social media
  3. Leverage content marketing and social media to drive retail traffic and attributed gross profit
  4. Community management efforts that nurture a positive online reputation for the business
 
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, implement and manage our content marketing strategy including blog, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Generate, edit, publish and share content that drives traffic to our online properties and generates engagements and followers on social media
  • Work with outside vendors and in-house designer to create extraordinary content
  • Identify target audiences and content distribution strategies that maximize visibility and engagement
  • Create, organize and manage an effective content calendar
  • Build, communicate and document objectives and success metrics for all channels (e.g. engagement, views, traffic, etc.)
  • Direct blog post ideation, creation and publishing strategy
  • Manage daily social posts, brand conversations and community/reputation management
  • Be a thought leader with social media best practices, trends and technologies
  • Utilize social listening to identify common trends and patterns to be used to improve our business
 
Minimum Experience
  • 3+ years of content marketing, social media or PR experience in-house or with an agency
  • Mastery of all social media platforms and tools including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
  • Content calendar creation, organization and management
  • Successful creation and execution of Facebook promoted post campaigns and like/follower ads
  • Successful build and implementation of Facebook and Instagram audiences
  • Experience with Instagram Stories is a bonus
  • YouTube channel strategy and growth
  • Blog design, category identification, post creation and publishing
  • Working with outside vendors and holding them accountable to agreed upon deliverables
  • Experience with social media management tool(s) and a recommendation on what to use
  • Strong writing and proofreading ability that ensures proper tone of voice, grammar and punctuation
  • Photography, graphic design or video experience is a bonus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships that add to the company culture and drive forward business objectives
