  • Several years of experience in the spine medical device industry with robust market knowledge
  • Experience recruiting and managing multiple sales representatives in the spine industry—experience with both external and internal reps preferred
  • Experience developing and defining a sales plan and strategy and executing the sales strategy in the field
  • Managed a significant sales territory successfully, increasing sales and profitability and meeting or beating company targets consistently for multiple years
  • Established and managed quotas for sales reps
  • Managed key strategic sales decisions to maximize both sales and profitability, including extensive experience in matters involving, price, commissions, and the placement of limited inventory to maximize sales and profitability
  • Experience maximizing prices in different markets and situations
  • Existing strong relationships with reps and other key business partners in the industry
  • Developed and managed a sales forecast and departmental budget
  • Ability to secure new business and successfully manage existing accounts
  • Ability to understand and sell state-of-the-art technology
  • Continual learning of the latest product and product feature demands and trends and effectively coordinating other departments to respond to the market
  • Work well with other departments to develop company strategies
