Area Sales Manager – Salt Lake City, Utah OR Tucson, AZ

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager/Director, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales, support and service for all products to all clients within the defined territory in accordance with company policies and procedures.  

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: Prepare territory plan and quarterly estimates. Report weekly on territory orders and activities. Prepare and follow up quotations/tenders in a timely manner. Visit customers according to call plan.  Prepare field trip reports and file notes on customer meetings. Develop and maintain effective business relationships and key account profiles with customers.  Know key decision makers at customers. Administrate orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Actively prospect new business. Monitor competitor activities. Meet or exceed territory order targets. Identify, record, and recommend or initiate action to solve any problems relating to product or process quality. Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team oriented and customer focused attitude within and between departments.  Keep Regional Sales Director/Manager apprised of pertinent issues and information warranting manager’s knowledge, action and/or resolution. Complete special projects as assigned Comply with all Sales – North America Department and Company policies, procedures, and programs.  Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.  Maintain departmental housekeeping standards Responsible for Environmental Health and Safety management and policy commitments as prescribed for this role in the company’s Duty of Care.
